Last night here in Texas, we had a rare winter’s snow. As startling as it is to suddenly be driving home from work facing a full assault of thick, white snowflakes, all was forgiven this morning when we awoke to see a gorgeous blanket of white coating the browns and pale greens of a typical Texas winter.
This beautiful snowy surprise is a great reminder that change can be startling and even downright scary at times, but it can also be refreshing, beautiful, and good. For those of us who have a story of addiction and recovery to tell, we are well-acquainted with the power of change and the beauty it holds. Sometimes it’s nice to take a moment and appreciate life’s surprises, changes, and challenges, even when we are unsure of what they will bring.
If you’re ready to make a change in your life today, the staff at Nova Recovery Center is here for you. Please call our admissions team today to learn more about our gender-specific drug and alcohol rehab programs for men and women.
