As a Recovery Advocate, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals through the earliest stages of their recovery journey. This is more than a commute—it’s a daily drive toward impact and inner fulfillment. Summary/Objective The position assists with milieu management under the direction of the Program Director, Executive Director, or Operations Manager with specific emphasis on monitoring client attendance at required program activities, monitoring and providing direction/redirection to clients regarding the structure of the program; modeling and supporting the client's recovery process; and providing oral and written reports continually while on shift.

Responsibilities

  • What You’ll Do as a Recovery Advocate
  • You’ll be a grounding presence in a client’s early recovery experience. From maintaining structure to offering encouragement, you’ll ensure our environment is safe, supportive, and healing.
  • Your Role Includes:
  • Monitoring client behavior & documenting observations
  • Completing rounds every 30 minutes to ensure safety
  • Helping with admissions, discharges & transport
  • Encouraging recovery-focused behavior & redirecting when needed
  • Upholding respectful, professional boundaries while offering heartfelt support

Qualifications

  • Required Education and Experience
  • ● Must have a valid Texas driver license and clean driving record to drive company vehicles. Possible transportation of client(s) may be needed in a timely and safe manner.
  • Minimum qualification of a GED or high school diploma required.
  • General Qualifications
  • Must have the ability to interact warmly and professionally with individuals while maintaining appropriate boundaries. Excellent oral, scheduling, and communication skills are required. Prior experience with Windows operating systems is required. Ability to be a self-starter with minimal supervision.
